CALCASA Public Policy does many things including monitoring proposed sex offender legislation and lobbying for fair legislation. They are primarily a group helping sexual abuse victims however, also work for reasonable sex offender sentencing and treatment.

They are directing only 10% of one persons time to legislation monitoring and lobbying! They don't have the funds to devote more resources to this activity. I would hope that they could get one time or recurring contributions enough to have at least a full time staff member devoted to sex offender legislation lobbying and research.
